Congratulations Duncan and great to have you back!
“Duncan West would like to today, regretfully inform everyone that after extensive consultation with his surgeon and physiotherapist that he will not be able to compete in the first Australian Pole Fitness Championships. “After each training session, I was limping for around three days and having some rather interesting problems straightening my leg due to floating scar tissue blocking the joint. Both my surgeon and physio have advised me not to push my luck; as pole places a lot of twisting and separating forces on the knee and that really, I should be concentrating on the rehabilitation exercises rather than risking everything for an early return to performance.”
He would also like to take this opportunity to wish the best of luck to all those that are competing and to wish the organisers all the best with what should be a fabulous night of pole entertainment. The work put into these events is not inconsequential and should never be taken for granted.”
